soundSCAPE provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which pianists of all abilities can explore and expand their knowledge of contemporary performance practice. Once accepted into the program, pianists will be notified of their performance assignments in chamber music; written by composers attending the festival. Pianists will coach with the composers and faculty in preparing the world premiere performances of these works, to take place at the end of the festival.

During the festival, pianists will also have the chance to perform in master classes for various faculty and guest artists.
